Melissa Salamoff

Melissa enthusiastically embraces her talent as an artist and has channeled that into a successful career as an interior designer. Upon procuring a B.A. in Interior Design, Melissa joined Walt Disney Imagineering, lending her vision and skills to retail, restaurant and hospitality projects in various parks both locally and abroad. In addition to her innovative design solutions for theme projects, Melissa has experience working as a designer and project manager for large architectural firms, designing a variety of projects ranging from high-end tenant improvement to multi-family to government facilities.
Desirée Weitzenhoffer
SENIOR DESIGNER / PROJECT MANAGER
As the daughter of a contractor father and an artistic mother, Desiree has been pursuing her career in Interior Design since an early age, beginning with hand drafting, AutoCAD, and design classes in high school. She furthered her love of Interior Design by obtaining a college degree in 2004. Interior Design has been her singular career focus for the last 20 years and she can’t imagine herself in any other profession. Her experience covers commercial, multifamily, home builders, and private residential.
Vanessa Deras
SENIOR DESIGNER
Vanessa possesses a keen eye for detail paired with a firm grasp of the abstract nature of design. She holds a B.S. in Interior Design and applies her knowledge and exemplary design talent to each project with an open mind to how the project program can be achieved. Accompanying her prodigious design talent is an intuitive sense of balance and order. Gifted with dexterity of envisioning projects in 3D, Vanessa implements her stellar aptitude for all phases of the design process from concept development to space planning to client interaction with thoughtful patience and professionalism.
Karissa Tolle
PROJECT LEAD / DESIGNER
Karissa Tolle brings a fresh, new perspective to all aspects of the design process. A recipient of a B.S. in interior design with over 8 years of experience, Karissa contributes strong design talent as well an incredible cache of skills that facilitates DS Interiors offering above average services to all its clients. Her experience in multiple project types ensures a fresh take on programming with an unmatched unique catered approach. Along with an intuitive sense of balance and order, she approaches design with out of the box thinking. Experience in design, marketing, graphics and film also allows Karissa to examine project design requirements in a manner that is inventive and customized to each client’s aspiration.
Dylan Wakelin
CREATIVE LEAD / DESIGNER
Dylan is driven by a passion for creating engaging and interactive spaces based in conceptual thinking. He coupled a B.Iarch in Interior Architecture with film studies at the University of Oregon to combine the best lessons in design and visual storytelling. Among others, Dylan’s favorite part of the process involves the conceptual development of a project, integrating form finding with functional problem solving. With aspirations in themed entertainment, Dylan believes creating spaces is about more than what is built, but what is felt and experienced within them. He is fascinated with the confluence of architecture and technology and believes that strong visual communication relies on a strong relationship between them. Throughout everything, Dylan is always people oriented and client focused in creating the best possible designs.
Bianca Costa
DESIGNER
Through her journey as an artist and designer, Bianca has established a holistic and distinguished approach to design by merging different disciplines of art, crafts, technology, and context and translating those elements into beautiful and functional spaces. Upon receiving a B.F.A. in Architecture/Landscape/Interiors and a Sustainability minor from Otis College and Art and Design, she has explored ways to incorporate thoughtful and cohesive colors, textures, and lighting practices into projects, which has granted her an award from the Illuminating Engineering Society for the Lumen West 2020 Student Awards. Bianca has a unique talent for combining elements and applying both her artistic and technical knowledge in innovative and unexpected ways. Her designs are bold, vibrant, and always make a statement. She approaches each project with creativity, passion, and a commitment to excellence. She believes that great design has the power to transform people's lives, and she is dedicated to creating spaces that inspire and delight.
