OUR STORY

Design Syndicate, established in 2010 by Melissa Salamoff, is an award winning full-service interior design firm with a passion for creating spaces that evoke emotion, forge connections and are not only functional but push the boundary of design to create unique experiences. Melissa Salamoff began her career in hospitality designing hotels, restaurants and retail and from there branched out into other commercial spaces as well as multifamily; bringing her core values of collaboration, storytelling and pushing the design narrative to all projects.

Design Syndicate’s involvement in a project goes well beyond aesthetics, we create spaces that people love to be in and experience. We begin each project with a deep dive into the who, what, where and why so we can create the projects story. We are inspired by nature, art, technology, fashion, architecture and the world around us which is then infused into our spaces. We are expert planners mapping out how spaces can function and flow. We then take the 2D into 3D to create environments that our clients can be immersed in through processes like VR.

Since its inception Design Syndicate has amassed a portfolio of workspace, multi-family, mixed use and high-end projects including new construction, renovations and conversion from a variety of industries.

We are an interior architecture firm. We embrace collaboration between like minded individuals to create innovative, holistic designs.

We are storytellers. Every project should have its own unique story and our specialty is helping clients tell that story by creating engaging and thoughtfully designed spaces that are true to the client and the project mission.

We are rightly sized. Our size allows us to give our clients a more personal connection. We consider our clients partners in the creation of their spaces which allows us to be nimble and work through solutions more efficiently.
